Emergency Procedures
Know what to do in case of an emergency. Your safety is our priority.
Fire Emergency
In case of fire, follow these procedures immediately to ensure everyone's safety.
- Alert others by shouting "FIRE" and activate the nearest fire alarm
- Evacuate immediately using the nearest emergency exit
- Do not use elevators during a fire
- Close doors behind you to contain the fire
- If smoke is present, stay low and crawl to the nearest exit
- Assemble at the designated assembly point outside the building
- Do not re-enter the building until cleared by authorities
- Call 999 (Fire Department) from a safe location
Medical Emergency
Quick response procedures for medical emergencies in the workplace.
- Call 999 (Ambulance) immediately
- Alert office security and management
- Do not move the injured person unless in immediate danger
- Provide first aid if trained and safe to do so
- Locate and use the nearest first aid kit
- Keep the area clear and provide information to emergency responders
- Document the incident for reporting purposes
Earthquake
Procedures to follow during and after an earthquake.
- Drop, Cover, and Hold On: Drop to the ground, take cover under a sturdy desk or table, hold on
- Stay away from windows, glass, and heavy objects
- Do not use elevators
- If outdoors, move to an open area away from buildings and power lines
- After shaking stops, evacuate the building using stairs
- Assemble at the designated safe area
- Check for injuries and provide first aid if needed
- Do not re-enter the building until it has been inspected
Evacuation Procedures
General evacuation guidelines for all types of emergencies.
- Remain calm and follow instructions from emergency coordinators
- Use the nearest emergency exit (do not use elevators)
- Walk quickly but do not run
- Assist those who need help if it is safe to do so
- Close doors behind you as you exit
- Proceed to the designated assembly point
- Wait for roll call and further instructions
- Do not return to the building until authorized
Power Outage
Procedures to follow during power outages.
- Remain calm and stay in your area
- Use emergency lighting or flashlights (available in designated areas)
- Unplug sensitive electronic equipment to prevent damage from power surges
- Follow instructions from management regarding work continuation
- If evacuation is necessary, use emergency lighting to exit safely
- Report the outage to IT and facilities management
- Wait for power restoration or further instructions
Bomb Threat / Security Alert
Critical procedures for security threats.
- If you receive a threat, remain calm and listen carefully
- Note any details: time, caller voice, background sounds, exact words
- Immediately notify security and management
- Do not touch or move any suspicious objects
- Follow evacuation procedures if instructed
- Do not use mobile phones near the suspected area
- Wait for security personnel and law enforcement to arrive
- Provide information to authorities when safe to do so
